My friend recommended this place and honestly I can see WHY!
LOVED their ceviche, spicy margaritas & fish tacos. Service was great as well as they were very accommodating. Excited to try all their other items as well, however prices may be more than a typical Mariscos food truck, but it is WORTH IT.
Even on a Friday night, I believe they have a mariachi perform so that adds to the dining experience as well. So head to Fish Mart if you're ever in the San Ysidro area to embark on your seafood excursion! -

Located right off I5 in San Ysidro 2 miles from the Tijuana border crossing. A very spacious and well lit interior. The menu in both Spanish and English helps a lot. I ordered the Shrimp burrito, the shrimp is grilled and covered in crema and pick de Gallo garnish. Simply fantastic, full flavors racking the taste buds plus the awesome hotsause paired up just right. Rice and beans as good as any fine food establishment. My wife had the grilled fish tacos, everything's huge, between us two we could have fed 4 persons.
Overall 5 stars on the food and restaurant, 4 stars on service due to slow greeting, order taking, when they are not busy it seemed a bit annoying.

Their spicy grilled shrimp taco is one of the best food offerings in San Diego, nothing else like it. The shrimp have delicious grilled sear marks, the tortilla comes out slightly crispy with a great texture, and everything smells amazing like it was brushed in pork fat. The fish taco is the absolute best too, big pieces of fresh fish with a fluffy batter, and they dash everything with this amazing chili oil hot sauce that is never too spicy and a tiny bit sweet. The service is always courteous and a huge part of the experience as well. A must-visit for San Diegans, this place will make anybody love Mexican seafood.

Was a little hesitant to try this place based on some of the reviews but it was recommended by my son so we tried it. I don't understand the other reviews because our service was excellent. Food was VERY delicious and portions were good. I ordered the Culichi shrimp and everyone in my party tasted it and all loved it. We will be back!
